There are large sections of the country near the border that really do not resemble America according to them, they have basically have become Mexico filled with Mexicans as opposed to Mexican Americans. I think it goes beyond race, it is really about culture according to some white friends that live near the Southwest. There are large sections of the country near the border that really do not resemble America according to them, they have basically have become Mexico filled with Mexicans as opposed to Mexican Americans.
