My husband was the Director of Protocol at a gay club in Seattle for quite some time. At a straight club, he would have been called the head bouncer...grin. Point is - I never saw straight women dance with such freedom and abandon as in gay clubs. It's like hearing little girls speak up for the first time in class when the boys are taken away for something, except there are still all these dynamic men with whom to interact.
