meh…If you want to make desi-African American relations interesting, you could talk about how the Civil Rights movement was largely based on the teachings of Gandhi, while other groups sought equality through Islam.

I think that sounds like a really interesting topic, but I also think it should deserve its own piece, as its a little off-topic here imo.
