He refers to himself as a "master" and mentions his "mastery" repeatedly, without a trace of irony. Maybe he's a good chef, but because of his continual boasting and self-promotion, he's by far the most annoying contestant on the show. I hope he'll be kicked off as soon as possible.

-R
Suvir is insufferable…so full of himself. Now that I re-read it, it does come off differently so I do apologize. And the second one was a typo ... the woman who danced as a part of her food presentation was the one I found cringe worthy :D and I bet everyone would agree on THAT one.
Suvir I guess I should put sarcasm tags on what I say and watch my obscure pop-culture references but I was referring to the editing cut that the Food Network gave you with Appleman saying that you were annoying him (I couldn’t find a link when I was writing the post).

I'm glad you enjoyed the post. Good luck in the competition. I look forward to hearing what you have to say in the next episode. :) To answer your question, I watched the premiere episode just once and paused whenever something struck me as a funny or interesting quote, so that I could jot it down.
Thanks for your comment Suvir! I did not know myself what I had said. A friend sent me to your blog to capture what it was I was being credited for. Did you see the show more than once? To capture every word? WOW! Thanks!

Rahul - Thanks for your brutal if cliched honesty. You speak of my cliched talking and then speak of your own dislike of the Delhi/Noida crowd. How is that for cliche and generalization. At least like me, you are honest. I commend you for that. Kudos to you.

Floyd is a sweetheart and a dear man. He is also very talented and very kind. I could not have asked for a better Indian partner in crime if you will. It was an honor to be with him on the show. Glad you are admiring of him. And approve of his non Delhi/Noida accent.

But most of all, thanks again to Sepia Mutiny for providing details from the show for those like me that did not watch the show aired in entirety and at least not with the cares to document the quotes.
