Great drive and determination and desis should embrace him as one of their own. He has said his goal is to clean our the 140 lb. division, which features as much talent as any in boxing right now. Tim Bradley looms large, but there are also great fights to be made with the likes of Devon Alexander, Zab Judah, or even Victor Ortiz. Re-matches with Marcos Maidana or Breidis Prescott (the one guy to beat Khan) would also be fan-friendly fights.

Not sure I see the point of a Marquez fight (also, JMM has never beaten Pacquiao. He got off the mat in their first bout to fight to a controversial draw that many people thought he had won and lost the rematch on points). Marquez is too small for Khan, a big junior welterweight, and he's a little shot to boot.

Khan would be a great matchup for almost anyone with his fast hands, but I doubt he moves up to welterweight until he settles things at 140 lbs.
Interesting take, Manju.

The next step is for him to take on the best. But that means either Mayweather or PacMan. but PBF has made almost everyone he's fought look stupid and in recent years PacMan has made them look even stupider.

He's simply not ready yet. But he also can't go back toward tomato cans. i would suggest he lose a little weight, go back to lightweght (he's only a 1/2 a division up from there now) and take on Marquez...the last man to beat PacMan.

Marquez is a top 5 lb-4-lber and I think Khan would be his biggest money fight, since PacMan won't give him another shot. He has the size advantage and Marquez is not operating at the stratospheric level the other 2 are. Pac and PBF are arguably 2 top 10 HOFers.
Amir Khan is in a bit of a rock and a hardplace now.
