I think the quote is false! Didn't an actress from the TV show the Good Wife just win an Emmy award? I do believe though that Kal Penn is probably the most famous South Asian American actor in Hollywood he's the one most people recognize because of the Harold and Kumar movies. Also, I know Freida Pinto is not American but isn't she just as famous or even more famous than Kal Penn right now? Everyone I look, I see Freida on the cover of major magazines she's in the Woody Allen movie, she has a film called Miral coming out, the Immotrals, Planet of the Apes. I can go on and on but Freida is really reached the mainstream in Hollywood.
