No, I want him to be pragmatic and not so dismissive of people who are to the right of him, politically. Otherwise, it is just predictable and THAT is lame and boring.

abhi’s a moderately liberal democrat. i don’t get what your guys’ issues are. he’s liberal,.most, but not all, of the posters and commenters are liberal here. just how it is. i’m not liberal, and i hope haley wins, though from what i can tell the governorship in SC is weak anyhow. support the candidate who aligns with your ideology, period. i really don’t care if the republican party is mostly white religious nuts if their views align with mine on the salient issues (as a brown atheist). the repubs won’t control foreign policy (i lean toward isolationism, which means i have no home anywhere politically in the mainstream) and be able to enact theocratic laws under obama. so i’m obviously in their favor right now.

OTOH, more productively, there is an equivalent south asian american weblog run by people with conservative political views? i don’t know of any. until then you have to accept that normal liberal bias will be dominant here because it’s not possible for humans to genuinely be purely objective on these issues without being boring.

If you go rogue and replicate (and you do seem to have the aptitude),you’d be quite famous, and most probably prosecuted. However, if you reproduce like everyone else, you’d instantly join the desi uncle fraternity. Sad but true.
