Why just North Amrikans? That’s a bit against the democratic and global spirit of the interweb.

the blog was founded as americo-centric. and i think the global aspect of the internet is a bit overdone. there are 400 million chinese on the web, and they reside mostly in a chinese-language web. the biggest (as in readers) on the web is now a chinese dude who most non-chinese haven’t heard of.

in fact, i’ve found that american brown people raised in the southern states are kind of southern, and different in many of their outlooks from those raised outside of the south (e.g., they will object to the characterization of the people they were raised amongst as being descendants of traitors for example!). so spreading the net too far geographically can sometimes cause translation overhead.

anyway, pretty bizarre that this blog has made it for 6 years. at this rate some of the SM contributors who replicate in the near future can put forward their own spawn as gen 2.0 in an act of nepotism
