Right, because we totally need more fake and unattainable media images. Seriously, the fact that this is full of 'ordinary' people is part of what makes it so great. Am I the only one here old enough to remember when videos first came out in the early eighties, and they were full of dressed up but otherwise regular-looking folks? When you could actually imagine yourself as a rock star without tens of thousands of dollars of plastic surgery?

he video or that some earnest Sepia Mutineer has used it to present some statistics on inter-racial couplings and extrapolated that out to link to a discussion on Height and Gender Asymmetries in Interethnic Marriages.

a lot of the discussion among asian americans and interracial/ethnic pairings has the subtext that there is a gender skew. the data surprised me, so i try to spread the world. as for the height, that was always to me a very plausible explanation, so it was nice to see it characterized rigorously.

Can’t help chuckling at those complaining about the lack of good-looking men in the video it’s not just the men.

The women in the video are attractive. IMO anyway.
