Former Governor Palin had "experience", but I honestly wouldn't trust her to walk my dog. I trust that Raj Goyle et al can do a great job with the experience they have, but so can someone who hasn't traveled their same path. I believe that in the last presidential election, there were critics of Obama who felt that he lacked experience. But, the time was right. It seems that the dynamics are similar in this race, the district has shifted Democratic, the seat is open, and the primary opponent, although loaded, is not unbeatable. It sounds familiar. I think APA for Pike is off base, Trivedi has experience on the federal level, there is a history of many people in Congress who have not held a political seat (Biden for example) before being elected, the timeing is right. You have to win. Trivedi can win.</p> I do think that it is hard to equate “experience” with good judgement. Former Governor Palin had “experience”, but I honestly wouldn’t trust her to walk my dog. Manju– was that sarcasm? Honestly couldn’t tell. Charles Boustany, who is a doctor, is actually an Arab-American. This is a very common family name in Lebanon.
