I am not sure what religion Raja is, but besides a historical race and gender barrier there is a religious barrier, which gets more pronounced the higher the office. We've only had one Catholic President. So not only have non-Christians not been able to break the religious barrier, but non all Christian denominations have been able to break through. Well at least they didn’t change it to “Roger,” to make it easier.
