Lol, you haven't seen many stand-up comedian's on talk-shows, have you? It's standard practice.

Stand-up sits on the couch under the guise of doing an 'interview', when really its just another way for them to do some of their material. The host feeds them a prepared question to cue them and the stand-up takes it away, giving the audience a taste for some of his material.

Aziz Ansari is the king! I wonder who the next South-Asian name we're going to see spoken with some acclaim in Hollywood circles.
