As always, our brother Asif has performed great in this show and I really enjoyed his comedy. But seriously Indian Americans has done well to reach this level of recognition and need to work harder for occupying key cabinet posts in the administration in the future, I believe its possible.

I think SG's easy on the eyes but not necessarily McDreamy or anything. He comes across as effortlessly pleasant yet bland. I think he makes all of these Sexiest People lists because he's a safe choice and male doctors tend to have a default sexy status almost in any culture.

Slightly OT but Aasif Mandvi is far sexier.

I happen to like SJ for the job for two reasons: he is very personable (did a very good job with CNN) and is profoundly aware of the medical consequences of things like depleted uranium, etc. which we like to use on various people (including our own military) and might be able to insert an medical and ethical stance back into warmongering, etc.,something the last surgeon general probabl;y didn’t even give a passing thought to.
