As someone who was born into a Christian family and later converted away from the faith, I appreciate that the USA makes a distinction between state and religion and that any and all faiths are duly represented amongst it’s common citizenry in the present era. I respect the right of Christians to do their thing and they need to reciprocate that with me. Just as I do not proselytize and try to convert them, similarly, they should return the favor and not force their personal religious choice upon me.
