Yes, I agree my society is not perfect, but is no other society. Will it be proper for me to say American culture is nothing but teenage pregnancies, drugs, adultery, divorce, not caring one’s parents, warmongering, guns, high school shootings? How your people behaved during Hurricane Katrina, How many shoots were fired, how many women were raped? In my country such disasters happen every other month, we come together, we care for each other, we don’t kill, we don’t rape and on top of that we have bomb blasts, terrorism, riots, even everyday life for a common person is not less a than war but we manage to move on, we still haven’t forgotten to smile and we don’t need Prozac for that, and in spite of all this we have hope in future, we know we have been through worse and we survived, this too will pass and a bright future awaits us. If now, if have you gotten some idea of present day situation in India you may understand, getting “sexually liberated isn’t top of our agenda, partly because we have important things to do and partly because unlike you we don’t want our future generations to grow up without knowing who their father is.</p> I suppose majority of you or your parents are from India, very strange you don’t find anything good in that culture. “All the organizers are doing by making scantily clad white women dance in front of huge crowds is to stoke the base, voyeuristic and sexual insecurities of the Indian male. It’s revolting and crude,” historian Ramachandra Guha said.

I agree.

More from the Telegraph;

“We do expect people to pass lewd, snide remarks but I am shocked by the nature and magnitude of the comments people pass here (in India)” cheerleader Tabitha from Uzbekistan said. “Be it a 70-year-old or a 15-year-old kid they all letch at us and make amorous advances. “We are living in constant fear of being molested,” she bemoaned.

Who’s crazy idea was this? Why did they not prepare the women for what they would face in that country?

If they had, I bet not a single cheerleader would’ve gone there.

It’s crazy. If I were the cheerleaders I would sue whoever cooked this up. He has put women’s lives at risk.

Disgusting.

“We live in India where womanhood is worshipped. How can anything obscene like this be allowed?,” Siddharam Mehetre told the Press Trust of India news agency.

Yep, and I’ve got some WMDs in Iraq to sell you, Siddharam ji.

There have been reports in the Indian newspapers of cheerleaders complaining of sections of the crowd jeering at them and making lewd comments.

Really? Who would’ve ever thought?

Some TV pundits pointed out that the Redskins cheerleaders are showing more skin on the cricket pitch than most Indian men will see before marriage.

Let’s face it, it’s likely to be more skin than they will see after marriage as well! LOL!!!

it looks like these cheerleaders will be banned
