~~The South~~ Malayalam will rise ~~again~~! Ah, who am I kidding. It so won't. I've actively helped to further the viral dissemination of "kundi" to the diaspora and I'll have to be happy with that.

I'm grateful for all the unexpected Tamil which has popped up lately, since it's fun to see how much I understand. That and I get to make gratuitous references to thayir sadham and lemon rice in my posts. Mmmm, lemon rice...

My Tamil avian vocab is limited limited to: chicken, pigeons, crows, peacocks. As such all birds must be reclassified to fit in this simplified taxonomy.

I like your minimalist approach. However, if you've listened to just 10 Tamil songs in your entire life, you must've heard of Kuyil (cuckoo). Oh, and eagle is kazhugu, I think. Or is that hawk? Chickenhawk is kozhi-kazhugu then, I assume.
