I see the possibility of many interesting puns 'twixt the words, "c**k," "my c**k," and macaca.

Actually, I think the expression in question was dk not ck. But I may be wrong. Anyway, there's got to be something we can do with "chicken tikka masala," "pukka" and "macaca."

For Lazy Monkey, all I have so far is a chorus refrain, all boisterous and Onyx-like:

Hanuman on parade! Rajni in the muthafin' house! Hanuman on parade! Rajni in the muthafin' house! etc....

Mr. K, though we've never met and I respect your comments immensely, I'm going to have to disagree with you on one central point. Gratuitous use of swear words pretty much always funny.

Now, on to the pressing issue of writing Lazy Monkey.

Hear, hear. I've no ideas whatsoever, but, speaking of gratuitous cussing, I see the possibility of many interesting puns 'twixt the words, "ck," "my ck," and macaca.

I'm going to sound like a complete anorak, but I still say Lazy Sunday's the best. The others are craptastic. Sorry Natalie Portman, but being very very good looking, and saying "suck my **** (and, hello, you're a lady, you don't have a ****), and smashing chairs, and claiming to be the baddest ever Harvard grad (which, anyway, isn't you), doesn't equal funny. And Kal Penn's vid is funny-ish, but not really funny. Too long, too stoppy and starty. And the Asian dude isn't as cool or as funny as John Cho. And all the other stuff on Lonely Island is just so-so.

Lazy Sunday, meanwhile, is actually better than most rap songs released last year, and the expletives are judiciously used, which makes them pack a punch, and there's an interesting story line (not just the vey hot Natalie Portman grabbing her crotch and repeatedly making the demonstrably spurious claim that she has a ****). Stop it Natalie, it's getting annoying.

Funny is about synergy. Funny is the blissed out look on Parnell's face at the end of Lazy Sunday. Funny is the sound of breaking glass on the break. Funny is "girl acted like she'd never seen a ten before." There's a reason why a dozen different spoofs of (or homages to) Lazy Sunday have been made. No one's going to spoof The Avon Lady.

That's all I have to say on the matter. And I don't care how many cool points it costs me.

Now, on to the pressing issue of writing Lazy Monkey.

Geez, talk about party crashers. As Victor Freeh said, Lazy Sunday is just one item in a host of items, and those of us who have been following Lonely Island style antics these many years aren't going to stop watching all of them just b/c ooh, Lazy Sunday was on SNL and was oh so good. I mean, dude, just b/c one thing was super funny do you stop watching anything else? That's the functional equivalent of leaving a comment on Taz's blogpost and saying, "oh, it's not as funny as this post Manish wrote two years ago. THAT was the best Mutiny post ever." This was new and wacky and different.

I mean, how can you not love that freaky dinosaur and Kal's bloodshot eyes and pizza and boxed wine? /shakes head.
