Just so everyone knows it, the distance between center of New Delhi (28.6376N, 77.2058E) and the center of Agra (27.1777N, 78.0093E) is 180.7124 km according to this resource.

ChitraGandoo you are more misinformed about Indian geography than others. Agra is about 200 Km from Delhi not 400 Km and with the pace Delhi is expanding geographically, day is not far when Agra will be another suburb of Delhi.

It never ceases to amaze me how misinformed some people are about India's geography. Delhi is approximately 400 km from Agra (read the Taj Mahal) and so good people, a Delhi disneyland would not be next to the Taj Mahal. Peace.

ChitraGandoo, thank you but I've lived in Delhi and I've been to Agra twice. The picture in the post wasn't meant to be literal. Relax.

Is a liking for Bollywood some sort of test of Desi-ness?

I was once told, no rather, commanded by someone who grew up in India, that to be real Indian male one must:

A. Follow cricket B. Follow Bollywood movies and listen to the music vigorously.

Funny, those two seem to me like the largest western imports into the country. And these people call us confused.
