Actually, it was refreshing to see Neela say “No, mine will never get over it”, very straightforward, but she still proceeded on.

Cool, I didn’t see the ep, so I’m glad to hear she said that. I didn’t know if it was just going to play as, “oh, how nice, we’re going to put the brown and black together and of course that makes sense.” Sounds like it was realistic, and yeah, it’s great they didn’t center things around “what am I going to tell my parents…” at the same time.

Not only was that wedding too underplayed, but the subway ride seemed like a rip-off of The Graduate. I see either his being killed in Iraq or an annulment in the near future (that is, May sweeps).

Janeofalltrades, maybe I’m giving the ER folks too much credit, but maybe they did it that way (ill-fitting blouse, unraveling sari) to point to the fact that she’s in Vestern gear most of the time, like many modern desi girls outside of India, and also, owing to her busy career, doesn’t spend gobs of time fussing over clothes and her appearance?

Ah ha…. she’s such a cutie. I didn’t mind and she just looked radiant in that getup. I wish they did more on it. But the ending with Abby and Kovach….whoo hooo.
