The date had signifigance to the bride because it was her grandma's birth or death or something. She wore a velvet green Renaissance -style gown and had crazy braided hair, and there was a trumpeter and a bagpipe player, and all the guests had to come in costume. It was the coolest wedding I ever saw, up until last summer's New Orleans swamp adventure, with airboat rides and a frozen daquiri machine and 100 lbs of crawfish. ;)</p> I went to a Halloween wedding in high school, for my old babysitter.
