I feel and think aishwarya rai is nothing but a big time pretence… she pretends that she is all goody and a nice innocent girl but she isnt.. she is just greedy for money and fame… and she uses everyone around her… sushmita seems to be a better person than her…

trying not to laugh I'd never thought of it that way, although I guess it does sum things up.

The giggling issue is either due to nervousness/inner insecurity or she really does lack awareness of how it makes her come across (due to ego/immaturity). In any case, I think she just needs to take everything on board as constructive criticism and remember that she is actually a grown woman in her thirties now. When there are professional rivals like Priyanka Chopra who is a decade younger than Ash yet still comes across as more mature than her, that should set off some alarm bells. She also needs to cut out the tendency to act aloof from the other Bollywood actresses; I remember the "Dreamgirls" live concert on one of the Indian satellite/cable channels a few years ago where all the other actresses who'd performed came out on stage at the end, except for Aishwarya. She needs to lost the Queen Bee mentality, I think.

You never know; as long as she takes all this seriously and sorts out the childish persona, it could well work out positively for her. After all, people jumped all over Sushmita Sen during the time of her first movie, and although it affected her badly at the time (including crying during interviews), look at what a woman she subsequently turned out to be. So maybe there is still hope for Aishwarya too.

Aish has large eyes and full lips – resembling a baby – which is apparently what men are attracted to – in some sick way. I do think Aishwarya is beautiful – but I would certainly want to meet a more approachable person like Sushmita or Priety rather than her.

I’ve never really understood all the Aish worship. Granted I’m a straight female so my opinion doesn’t count, but her looks don’t even strike me as that exceptional: she’s got a sort of bland, toothpaste-commercial beauty to me. A cousin of mine met Preity Zinta a couple of years ago, and he said she was sweet and approachable.

To be honest…it would be very much biased…….if the jury consists of only of males (who would be the last to know, which company makes which lip color………Guys, I am sorry that I am generalizing………..there could be exceptions)……….so I would appreciate SM ladies…..to be the part of the jury in the on going trial….and help us reach the final verdict.

and finally I will take all the credit for organizing this trial…………after all I should have some selfish motivations behind it.

A few years ago, I was working in a hospital in Mumbai which was frequented by the filmi kind. I have faced a whole bunch of the actors/actresses/producers/directors and I can say that Ms Rai was the best behaved and polite patient I have treated from the filmi world.

I guess most people will behave well with their physicians...

And anohter thing. Ash is the most annoying interview I have ever heard in my life. That laugh of hers is from the depths of hell and just kills every ounce of personality in her body. She bursts out laughing after every single question.
