So when is Indian version of "Playboy" coming

They are several indian softcore girlie magazines. Largest one is Debonair, owned by the publishers of stardust. There are several smaller ones. There seems to be one called playway which had a similar logo. From Tribune.

Maxim will have to fight with the ‘top notch’ TOI for its market. And now HT too. I dont see much difference in Maxim and them actually. Maxim might have better quality of daily news perhaps? Now thats what Maxim can do to make it more suitable to Indian market!!

Couldn't someone have aimed a little higher and gone for Esquire or GQ?

At least we (girls) would have had the prospect of some great writing to look forward to...

Any one remeber Tehelka and the sh*t the founders still have to deal with after exposing bribery. All of the mainstream newspaper just sat on the benches watching the show during both the exposing bribery aswell as the phony charges made up later. All of them may be more wealthy because of influx of foreign capital, but are they doing a better job of informing the public? I wonder if in India’s case, Does the population at large also care?
