APIAHF - Searchable Census Database

These comprehensive web pages display population, growth and socioeconomic data on 21 Asian American and Pacific Islander sub-groups as well as on the major racial/ethnic groups in the United States. Data is presented for national, state, and county levels. It has been extracted from the U.S. Census 1990 and 2000. A report linking socioeconomic disparities and health can also be forund here.

SAALT - Who are South Asians?

This report produced by South Asian American Leaders of Tomorrow provides a census based snapshot of South Asian Americans. It includes short community based profiles.

 
IACPA - A Portrait of the Indian American Community

This U.S. census based report by the Indian American Center for Political Awareness is a portrait of the Indian American community.  It looks at several different points to construct an overall picture of the Indian American community that will hopefully give a better picture as to the nature, the make up, the priorities and the needs of the community. This report concentrates on several topics: demographics, age, elderly, education, employment/income, and voter registration.
